One of Taiwan’s most sought after teas, oriental beauty (bai hao, white tip, fancy formosa) is harvested using the leaves bitten by the famed leafhopper. Once the leaf hopper has bitten the leaf, oxidation starts and the plant undergoes a process, resulting in beautiful white tipped leaves and a sweet flavor.

Delicious, but I’ve always been a fan of this tea. Everlasting’s Oriental Beauty, however, is perfect. Sweet and light.
If you like it cold, I tried cold brew, and it was just as good but in a different way. Lighter and honey instead of peach. Quite good.
